In the valley Saltdal, north of the Arctic Circle, there is a wealth of spectacular, exotic nature. This solo violin piece embraces some of these features.

Through storms that strike and rivers that hit, but in all likelihood with no harmful intentions. - I only happened to be there.

Through air that tastes like the most perfect meal and soil that soothes my sore feet. - I am amazed that I got to be there.

Through mountains that greet me with wide-open power. - I am the inferior who went the trails in the grand master´s land.

Through magical patterns of snow and starry nights that penetrate tearful eyes. - It seems like I have been visiting a valley superior to a self-effacing human mind.
